Jess is a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator based in Vancouver BC. She has 7 years experience working as a professional artist but has spent a lifetime creating and experimenting. Her work has been featured in The Walrus, Sad Magazine, Vancouver Mural Festival, the Greater Vancouver Foodbank and the Peter Wall Institute.
Her main area of focus is the connection we share with the world around us, from environmental protection to the supernatural and spooky. She’s fascinated with folklore and the way it weaves through every part of our existence. One of her goals is to make art accessible for all and to prove that anyone can be creative, regardless of skill level or age. She enjoys engaging with the community and bringing awareness to important issues such as the climate emergency and water protection.
